Feel Good Friday

When in a new place surrounded by a new culture and a new environment, what stands out the most? For traveler Mary, it’s the people.

After several trips to Northern Uganda, Mary has connected on a whole different level with the people of Gulu. Mary works with the community—in everything from nursery schools to recycled bead businesses to family-run piggeries—to create opportunity.

This community in Uganda has shown Mary that love and compassion are what Gulu the world together.

So why not join the kiddos for an afternoon of jump roping every once in a while?

Mary brought back traditional Ugandan fabric that stood out to her as a representation of these stand out people...

Here’s to a world Gulu’ed together by love and compassion and to feeling good—because after all, it’s Friday!

PS.  Plus a few more traveler fabric finds from other stand out cultures...
