This loan helped to buy buffalo calves and livestock feed.

Hương's story

Hương is 43 years old and lives with her family in Thiệu Hóa district. She has three dependents: two sons and a daughter. Besides livestock farming, Hương also works as a sales assistant to earn extra money for her children's education, with a monthly income of around $250. However, her family remains classified as a low-income household in the local community. With over 20 years of experience in animal husbandry, she has decided to take a loan to expand her livestock farming by purchasing buffalo calves and livestock feed. Her plan is to raise the buffaloes for one year and then sell them. In the future, she wishes for a healthy and happy family, and she hopes her products will sell at better prices so she can earn enough money to support her children's education.

This loan is special because it allows remote rural farmers make investments and increase their income.
