A loan helped to buy more juice, drinking water, milk, and other items to sell.
Moima's story
This is 50 year old Moima. She is a hardworking business woman that is married with 3 children. 2 of her children are currently attending school while living at home. She never had the opportunity to attend school.
She runs a business where she sells juice, drinking water, milk, and other items. She has been selling for the past 20 years and has had no problem with her business.
She has asked for a loan with BRAC Liberia, a KIVA field partner. She is seeking the loan to buy more juice, drinking water, milk, and other items to sell and add up her business in order to ensure she meets her customers' demands.
Her love for her business continues to grow every day. She enjoys interacting with her customers because it enables her to grow her customer base. Through her profits, she will be able to pay back the loan and improve her standard of living.
In the future she would like to continue sending her children to school and own a shop. She says thanks for your support.
This loan is special because:
It serves low-income individuals in rural Liberia where few alternative funding sources exist.
