Saidahmad's story
Saidahmad is 47 years old and he lives in Khuroson. He is the head of his family. He is married and the father of two children. Having taken over his family's business he has now been raising livestock for ten years. Very few jobs are available in the district and almost everyone is involved in farming. Many men also have to leave the country to find employment abroad. Saidahmad would have had the opportunity to leave at some point but he decided to stay with his family. He is now working hard to grow his business and he would like to achieve some recognition in his sphere of work. He is taking a loan to increase his cattle headcount. His savings are not enough to purchase the number of animals that he wants to buy, so he has decided to rely on borrowed money.
